Allison Izu
“I am personally obsessed with the fall season, and, now that my brand has expanded to the Midwest, I felt like I could design a proper, modern, fall collection,” says designer Allison Izu Song. “On the runway, you’ll see coats made from rich textiles and thicker knits in classic silhouettes, all of which are still comfortable to wear in Hawai‘i’s fall and winter months.”

Malia Jones
Expect to see a selection of Malia Jones O’Loughlin’s luxe, clean-lined swimwear and breezy cover-ups, plus a handful of chic ready-to-wear pieces, including one-shoulder tops and dresses, even joggers, from the Honolulu designer’s Resort 2017 collection.

Ari South
“This is the first print I actually designed,” says the designer. “Likolani represents my growing up here, the island culture and love for the hula community. I collaborated with local artist Lauren Roth on this print, and this collection reflects what will be coming in the near future for Ari South.” Watch out for a beautiful Japanese-style umbrella draped with her signature flowy fabric, sexy swimsuits and show-stopping gowns.

Kojo Couture
Maui-based designer Koa Johnson is offering up his version of dark, grunge glam—evening wear with an edgy, sinister vibe. The mix will include dramatic gowns and jumpsuits in metallic brocade and mesh finished with beaded lace and Swarovski crystals.

Ten Tomorrow
“The pieces I’m showing are from my Holiday/Resort 2017 collection, which debuts late November,” says designer Summer Shiigi. “I was inspired by the lush natural elements around the Island. Monstera greens are a big part of the collection along with easy-going silhouettes.” Shiigi’s favorite pieces from the show include an asymmetrical floor-length dress and this season’s must-have wide-leg paper bag trousers.
